Hi Friends and Family,
I’m doing it again. 

For the 22nd year, I am participating in a challenging bike ride up and down Israel’s beautiful hills and valleys to raise funds for Alyn Hospital.  This pediatric rehabilitation hospital is a world-renowned institution that provides children with expert evaluation and care, along with unique rehabilitative therapies. 

B’ezrat HaShem (and your help too), I plan to continue riding for Alyn until 120.  It is now so much a part of me that I volunteer to ride every Monday with the “graduates” of Alyn.
The photo is of me, pushing another volunteer, who is assisting Akiva, to get up the steep hills of the Jerusalem Forest. Akiva has limited use of his legs and is pedaling with his hands. It is a rare photo of me since I am the unofficial group photographer. I take photos during the rides to capture their smiles and show their families the determination of their kids to “be the best they can be”. Akiva and I have a special relationship.  I pick him up from yeshiva and then drive him home after the activity, saving his mom hours of travel time.  Akiva is getting “chazak”, and I am getting “chizuk”.
That’s what it is all about.  People helping people overcome obstacles, especially during these tense times. Thank you for your support.
