Harry and Karen Kissileff

We are both outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. We were planning to be in Israel at the time of this hike, and when a notice arrived by email, we jumped at the opportunity, to see a part of Israel we visited on our first trip in 1974. We climbed what was known as Mt. Sinai starting at 3 AM, reaching the top by sunrise. We are now much older and hope to do the scenic walk. This is the month of Adar, which brings in joy, and one of the best ways of bringing joy is by giving, so we hope our friends and family will help us reach our goal of 5K before we begin our three day walk on March 10.

I will be participating in the ALYN Children's Hospital Heels of Love hike. It is a multi-day, challenging hike in the Judean Desert.

During war or peace, ALYN treats children of all races, nationalities and religions, and the professional staff at ALYN reflects the diversity of the communities for which it cares. Unfortunately, the war has significantly increased the financial need for caring for thousands of disabled children. I need your help to reach my goal. Together, we can help hundreds of children in need.
