This November, I plan to bike over 200 miles through the Negev as part of the four-day Wheels of Love bike ride in support of ALYN Hospital. ALYN Hospital is Israel's only pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation center - a truly unique place where children with disabilities, severe injuries, and complex medical conditions get the treatment, therapies, and support they need to reach their fullest potential.

I had originally planned to do this ride with my brother-in-law, Robbie, who is still recovering from a serious bike injury in May. Until recently, I wasn’t sure if I would still do the ride without him. After watching his progress over the last few months through the life-changing work done by the rehab team at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, it became clear to me how much more meaningful it would be to do the ride this year.

I am riding in honor of Robbie and raising money as a zechut for his complete recovery.
