***Major change to my riding venue***...trading in beautiful Lake Tahoe for beautiful Northern Israel.  This November, I'll be participating in the famous Wheels of Love bike ride in northern Israel - four incredible days of cycling through the breathtaking Galilee and Golan Heights and.... hoping I won't have to dodge missiles. 

I'm riding to support the famous ALYN Children Hospital, Israel's only pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation center - a truly unique place where children of ALL RELIGIONS with disabilities, severe injuries, and complex medical conditions get the treatment, therapies, and support they need to reach their fullest potential.

We are training and preparing to ride for the hundreds of children treated at ALYN Hospital. On November 3, we will be ready with our bikes - in Northern Israel - to ride for 4 days, covering some 250 miles - all to benefit ALYN and its annual WHEELS OF LOVE campaign. We want to share the joy of what we do, and afford you the same opportunity we have to totally transform the lives of our children.

Now more than ever, with the countless casualties sustained to children since October 7, ALYN, based in Jerusalem, and long recognized as the leading center for pediatric rehabilitation in the world, has been busy - continuously treating children from all religious, social and ethnic backgrounds, suffering the traumatic results of war.

As our team name reflects, we will also ride in memory and honor of our friend KEVIN LEIFER, ZL. Kevin was one of ALYN’s inaugural riders, a Board Member, and he remains one of its single largest fund raisers. We all miss Kevin and are grateful for this opportunity to honor his indomitable character through the institution he so admirably exemplified.
