Dear family and friends,

This year, I'm riding in the Wheels Of Love Ride to help support the ALYN Hospital.

Jeff and I are honoring the memory of his beloved son, Alon,  whom he and his late wife, Jane, adopted from ALYN some 40 years ago.

War or peace ALYN Hospital in Jerusalem is one of the top rehabilitation hospitals in the world. They treat Jews, Christians, Moslems and Druze children with disabilities when there are no other answers. Alyn's goal is to provide therapy and treatment that will make a diffence to the child's life.  Over the years, thousands of children have been able to lead independent lives because of ALYN. This was certainly the case for many years for Jeff and Jane's son Alon, who suffered from spina bifida. 

ALYN needs help to treat all these children.  For over twenty years the Wheels of Love Ride has raised millions of dollars to treat thousands of children.

This year's ride is in northern Israel - the Galilee and Golan Heights, an area that was evacuated for two years because of Hizbullah rockets from Lebanon.  Several hundred cyclists in hotels there will economically help these northern communities. 

I'm riding to support ALYN Hospital, Israel's only pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation center - a truly unique place where children with disabilities, severe injuries, and complex medical conditions get the treatment, therapies, and support they need to reach their fullest potential.
